Dr. Turki Faisal Al Rasheed
Born in Makkah in 1954, Dr. Al Rasheed is a prominent Saudi businessman, academic, and advocate for sustainable agriculture and food security. He is the founder and chairman of Golden Grass, Inc. (est. 1982), a leading Riyadh-based firm specializing in sustainable farming, agrochemicals, and environmental services in arid environments.
He serves as Associate-Adjunct Instructor in Biosystems Engineering at the University of Arizona, and Advisor to the Environment and Sustainable Development Unit at the American University of Beirut.
Author of Saudi Arabia's Transformation: Uncertainty and Sustainability (Routledge, 2026), his works on agricultural strategies and Vision 2030 have shaped policy conversations across the Gulf.
